Description

Gigaopto’s GTS-L1330-40DCT 3G SDI Single Transmitter Module is a dual channel optical single mode transmitter module designed to transmit optical serial digital signals as defined in SMPTE 297-2006.

It supports from 50Mbps to 3Gbps and is specifically designed for transmitted the SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424M SDI pathological patterns.

This transmitter consists of two sections: a DFB laser transmitter and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements,it can transmit signal from 50Mbps to 3Gbps transmission reach up to 40km with 3Gbps pathological signals.

It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability, full compliant with SFP MSA, SFF-8472 standards. The built-in digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) allows access to real-time operating parameters.

It is suitable for high-definition digital broadcasting applications.

SMPTE 424M: 2.97 and 2.97/1.001 Gb/s

These bit-rates are sufficient for 1080p video at 50 or 60 frames per second.
