Description
Gigaopto’s GTS-B3530-40DC is 1 fiber BiDi SFP optical transceiver module designed to transmit and receive optical serial digital signals as defined in SMPTE 297-2006.
The transceiver is designed to transmit/receive data rates from 50Mbps to 2.97Gbps and supports SDI pathological patterns for SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424M serial rate,a maximum distance of 40 km is achievable with 3Gbps pathological signals over a single-mode fiber (SMF) with simplex LC connector
It is with a 1310nm DFB laser transmitter. The receiver section uses an integrated 1550nm detector preamplifier mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.
The transceiver is compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C.
Note:This bi-directional unit must be used with another transceiver (our GTS-B5330-40DC ) or network equipment of complementary wavelengths.
